Individuals with vertigo and vestibular dysfunction are often very dizzy and/or experience imbalance that may make it difficult or even dangerous to leave their homes. Many who are experiencing acute vertigo or neuritis are unable to drive due to their symptoms. For many folks, their journey to treat their vestibular disorder often begins with a visit to their physician or the emergency room. From here, people are referred either to outpatient physical therapy or an ear nose and throat (ENT) specialist. This process can take weeks to months.
I started Monterey Mobile to fill that care gap, bringing the highest quality vestibular therapy directly to you. With top of the line vestibular tools, including infrared videography, a comprehensive assessment and treatment plan can be completed within the comfort and safety of your own home. This significantly reduces the time it takes to receive treatment and ultimately results in better outcomes, so you can get back to your life and do the things you love.
In addition to vestibular and vertigo treatment, Monterey Mobile provides in home wellness and PT services for individuals who may lack transportation, have restricted or busy work schedules, or for those who simply prefer the privacy and comfort of their own homes. Comprehensive In Home Vestibular Evaluation & Treatment
Evaluation includes:
- medical history and review
- gaze stability and oculomotor exam
- neurologic screening
- infrared videography assessment
- canalith (crystal) repositioning for vertigo (as indicated)
- mobility/balance assessment
- vestibular education
- individualized home exercise program
A comprehensive treatment plan is developed based on the unique presentation and personal goals of each client.
Follow up sessions include:
- canalith repositioning (as indicated)
- ongoing exercise development
- balance retraining
- desensitization exercises
- reassessment of progress
Coverage areas include: Monterey, Carmel, Carmel-by-the-Sea, Carmel Highlands, Carmel Valley, Pebble Beach, Pacific Grove, Del Rey Oaks, Seaside, Hwy 68 Corridor. Will consider outside of these areas, if schedule permits, with additional travel fee.
Comprehensive In Home Physical Therapy and Wellness
Evaluation includes:
- medical history and review
- discussion of goals and identifying limitations/barriers
- strength and endurance testing
- mobility/balance assessment
- home safety recommendations
- DME/assistive device recommendations
- individualized home exercise program
A comprehensive treatment plan is developed based on the unique presentation and personal goals of each client.
Follow up sessions include:
- strength and balance training
- endurance training
- functional training
- check ins of progress towards goals
- home exercise progression
Coverage areas include: Monterey, Carmel, Carmel-by-the-Sea, Carmel Highlands, Carmel Valley, Pebble Beach, Pacific Grove, Del Rey Oaks, Seaside, Hwy 68 Corridor. Will consider outside of these areas, if schedule permits, with additional travel fee.

Hi! I'm Dr. Sasha Geisler, PT, DPT, NCS and I am a physical therapist with over 13 years of experience treating patients here on the Monterey Peninsula. After a fruitful career at CHOMP, I decided to step away from the traditional patient care model to offer a more flexible and personalized service, providing vestibular therapy in patient's homes. One of my greatest passions is helping individuals with vestibular dysfunction regain their balance, confidence and independence, so they can achieve their highest quality of life.
I am board certified by the American Physical Therapy Association as a Neurologic Clinical Specialist. I have also been through the renowned and rigorous Vestibular Competency course at Emory University. Through my advanced training, I have been able to utilize my skills and expertise to provide high quality, highly effective care. I pride myself on staying up to date on the latest best practice guidelines to ensure patients are receiving the best possible, evidence based care.
When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and children, traveling, hiking, pilates, yoga, cooking, restoring vintage furniture, gardening, and reading. You may even catch me riding my red Vespa, “Pia”, around town on a sunny day!
